🦋 About the Cambridge Nature Festival 🌱
The Cambridge Nature Festival runs annually for 5-6 weeks, from the start of May half term to the end of June. The festival is the cornerstone of the city’s environmental calendar.
In 2026, there were 244 events in the festival, with 46 event partners, and an estimated 5,700+ participants. This is a year-on-year growth of interest and engagement – we are truly a city of nature lovers!
The Cambridge Nature Network aims to run the festival again in 2027. Please get in touch with nature@cambridgeppf.org if you are interested in supporting it.

The 2026 festival is part of the River CamCAN Project (Climate Action Through Nature) supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. The River CamCAN aims to raise awareness of the challenges facing the River Cam and its tributaries and to inspire people to take action.
