The Really Wild Jam: Launch of Cambridge’s Green Trail

May 29 @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

The Really Wild Jam launches the Green Trail connecting culture, community, and biodiversity.

A day-long concrete jam with DJs, dance, and live installations marks the opening of a new creative nature corridor linking Cambridge North station with SIN Cru’s micro eco studio and community garden.

The Green Trail is an artist-led project bringing together local communities and schools with both local and national creatives. Throughout the day, the station forecourt will be continuously animated with live DJs and an open dancefloor, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds.

At 1:00pm, a series of speakers, including representatives from CrossCountry Trains, will be joined by live poets and MCs, offering reflections that bridge culture with environmental awareness.

At 1:30pm, Valoris hosts the lino with live beatboxing and breakin’ showcases, foregrounding Hip Hop as a dynamic, embodied practice.

At 3:00pm, a guided walk of the Green Trail departs from Cambridge North station, leading participants through all ten wayfinding points en route to SIN Cru’s studio in Kings Hedges.

Along the route, audiences will encounter live art interventions and unexpected moments, bringing the trail to life as an immersive journey. Goodie bags will be available for the first participants to complete the walk.
