Cambridge Conservation Forum: Volunteering Fair

Join members of the Cambridge Conservation Forum in the Common Room in the David Attenborough building to discover the conservation and rewilding projects around Cambridge and hear how you can get involved! If you’ve ever wandered through the local landscapes – parks, commons, river paths, local nature reserves – and wanted to help them thrive, this is your time.

Cambridge Conservation Forum (CCF) Volunteering Fair will take place 2-4pm on 17th June.

Why attend?

Local Impact: Help support biodiversity in and around Cambridge – don a pair of waders, get your hands dirty and make new friends while doing it.

Expert Connections: Connect with groups like the Cam Valley Forum, Cambridge Natural History Society, Cambridge Past, Present & Future, Wildlife Trusts BCN and the Cambridge City Council’s Greater Cambridge Chalkstream Project.

Diverse Opportunities: From practical habitat restoration, riverbank support and wildlife monitoring to community outreach and digital storytelling—there’s a role for every skill set.

If you represent a conservation or community group that is looking volunteers, please contact cambridgeconservationforum@gmail.com.
