Gamlingay Eco Hub + Walking Tour

Join us for a guided visit around Gamlingay village and hear about local perspectives on nature, carbon reduction, and community energy at the Eco Hub.

Tickets are free but please fill out this form

Meet at the Gamlingay Eco Hub (Gamlingay Community Centre)

1pm – 2pm – Optional guided tour around the village

The day will start with an optional 1 hour walking tour from the Eco Hub through Mill Bridge Meadow, where you will have a clear view of the Gamlingay Community Turbine which has been providing clean energy for the village since 2013! We will then continue through the Lowerfield, St Mary’s Field Cemetery, and the Gamlingay Foodbank and Fridge and back to the Eco Hub. The walk will be guided by community volunteers and will be entirely outdoors, so please dress for the weather.

2pm – 4pm – Talks & Refreshments at the Eco Hub

Cambridgeshire County Council’s Community Energy Team and South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Climate and Environment Team will also be on hand to answer your questions about related programmes.
