SUMMARY:The Kite Nature Project: Monthly Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Together we’ll build friendships and develop our ecosystem thinking skills. Come and get your hands in the soil! \n\n\n\n\nOnce a heritage market garden that fed Cambridge\, the Kite Nature Project at Brandon Court is now being nurtured by residents and Together Culture as a shared permaculture space.\nHere we’re learning to see ourselves as part of nature\, practising ecosystem-thinking\, and building community power step by step\, with neighbours invited into activities all year round. Come explore! \nWhat to expect in these monthly sessions\nEach month you can expect a mix of simple\, accessible gardening tasks (no experience needed)\, and conversation. We’ll discuss ecosystem thinking\, what it means to be a good neighbour\, and permaculture principles – and how each of these concepts relate to our own lives. \nCome and get your hands in the soil and spend an afternoon nurturing something that isn’t yours alone. \nAbout the Kite Nature Project\nThis is a place for us to: \n\nExplore what it means to be a neighbour\nConnect to place by learning about the people who built the Kite\nDevelop our own nature-related identities\nShift our mindset to ecosystem-thinking\nExplore cultural change as the bedrock of building new systems\nBuild new revenue streams that show how community wealth can g\nBuild community power\, step by step.\n\nYou can find out more about the Kite neighbourhood here\, with our Kite Navigator podcast.
