Join us to “Beat the Bounds” of Stourbridge Common and celebrate its history\, trees\, plants\, and wildlife. We’ll stop at various places to hear about \n\nThe history of enclosures in Cambridge\nColdham’s Brook and the Great Chalk Stream Project\nBlack Poplar trees\nCattle\, grazing and their importance for biodiversity\nForaging\n\nSchedule\n11 am: Meet at the Children’s Playground\n11.15 am: Guided walk around the Common\n12:30 pm: “Bring your own” picnic in the play area – join a creative art activity for\nchildren\, and a display about Stourbridge Common. \nAll welcome – no booking required! \nWhat to expect: \n\nA leisurely (child’s pace) walk around the edges of Stourbridge Common\nPauses to gather and hear short talks about aspects of the Common\, aimed at\nchildren\nWillow switches will be provided\nUneven grassy paths\, can be muddy\nCattle are grazing\, please be aware\nNo toilets
