Beetles are so varied that they make up 40% of all insect species and 25% of all animal species on Earth! There are currently recorded 350,000 different species of beetle that have been discovered, but it’s very likely that there are many more out there waiting to be found. Find out a bit more about some of them and then design your own – who knows, there might be one just like it somewhere?
