Pond Dipping at Milton Country Park

In collaboration with the Cambridge Nature Festival, join us for a days pond dipping and fishing at Hall’s Pool with coach, John Pope and the Environment Agency.
Catch your first fish, put it in the large fish tank so you can see how they behave under water.
Pond dipping for underwater bugs, crustaceans and aquatic critters. See what fish eat and how some of the bugs and larval insects are fearsome predators!
How do they propel themselves along?
How do they breathe under water?
Can you identify what you have caught?
No booking required, just drop in at Hall’s Pool on the day!
